Setting up a Community Interest Company means anyone with £100 or more can become a shareholder.  Just like a Building Society, it’s one member one vote.  Just like a private company, the shareholders decide what to do with the profits.  And because it’s a community interest company, the shareholders decide which local causes to support and how much to give to them.
